ANZSOM members are invited to nominate to sit on the National Organising Committee for the ICOH 2021 Congress.
As you will now be aware, Melbourne was successful in its bid to hold the triennial Congress, which will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 21 - 26 March 2021. As the Host Body for the Congress ANZSOM will have a number of representatives on the Organising Committee.
The National Organising Committee (NOC) will be responsible for the overall organisation and logistical arrangement for the Congress. It will also assist and facilitate the Congress International Scientific Advisory Committee (ISAC) in the planning and implementation of the Congress Scientific Program. The terms of reference of the NOC may be accessed here.
The NOC membership will include experienced occupational health professionals who are either contributing to ICOH Scientific Committees or those who have particular expertise in organising events and conferences that contribute to the excellence of occupational health and medicine. This will include representatives from the various professional organisations contributing to the original bid.
If you have the interest and capacity to contribute to the organisation of this major event and represent the interests of ANZSOM in this regard, please send your details and information to support your nomination to the Secretariat (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday 23rd June.
The first meeting of the Committee will be held in early July.
